Susannah M. Smith is the author of The Fairy Tale Museum (Invisible Publishing) and How the Blessed Live (Coach House Books), and a contributor to First Writes (Banff Centre Press) and All Sleek and Skimming: Stories (Orca Book Publishers). 

Her short fiction, non-fiction, poetry and artwork have appeared in various publications including Front Magazine, Event, Filling Station, Room of One’s Own and The Globe and Mail.

She is based in Vancouver, Canada, the ancestral land of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
